33 weeks 3 days

Long time no see!

I will give the latest update. So much has happened in 10 weeks! I had two showers (which I will elborate on in another post). I am HUGE. I have gestational diabetes. I have aches and pains. And yeah, Juliette is getting big!

My current complaints- BAD pelvic pain (almost my top left leg muscle). It's not happy. I go to the Chiro which helps big time and I try my hardest not to take tylenol, but sometimes, it's inevitable. My GD (Gestational diabetes) is usually under control. Well, that's until I had a flare up of asthma. They put my on steroids starting today and BOOM...Spike. I was told to expect it but I don't like it! My headaches that I had in second trimester seem to have gotten a ton better. I got very bad eczema, but as soon as the weather started getting warmer, that cleared right up (thank goodness!) I waddle like CRAZY, and take forever to get out of bed or from sitting down. I didn't realize that you basically lose all of your stomach muscles!

My current loves- I love feeling her move. I love the small and medium size kicks. I get weirded out and flustered when I feel the big movements.  This morning I felt an arm or leg side swipe my side. I felt the entire outline of it. I got freaked out! I don't mind feeling her inside of me, but when I can tell body parts, it's just strange! I love being able to see her once a week. Starting at 31 weeks, I have to go get an ultrasound every week. Some people think this is a pain in the butt, but I love it. We also get to see her in 3D so it's really fun. When I first saw her, it was immediate amazement, and love. I thought she was the most beautiful thing ever. She gets hiccups a lot, and because of her position, it's always facing down, hitting my pelvis. That's a weird feeling! I am loving my body. Although I don't think I look huge, when I walk by mirrors and see pictures, I am always surprised.

Cravings- Not as bad as first and second trimester and with GD, it's hard to feed the cravings, so I try to ignore them. Although I really look forward to my apple and peanut butter everyday

weight- around 24 pounds

her size- around 5 pounds and as big as a pineapple.

The next posts I have will talk about GD, the nursery and things we are doing to prepare and my showers.
